back to the gym

the last 4+ weeks have flow by.  closed escrow on a house, moved in, got married, changed jobs, tore the kitchen to the bones and rebuilt it – all in 30 days.  the gym routine got pushed to the side.

sensibility suggested reverting to week 7 from week 10 of the training program due to the obvious changes and lack of running.

Last monday was the first visit to to the gym in over a month…and those first 3 steps on the treadmill where pure joy.  though the 3 miles where tough, the reward was off the charts.  The next morning i jumped on the scale and saw my weight under 180 lbs.  Happiness lasted for 2 days.  i’m chomping at the bit to get back tomorrow to the second day of the 4 day a week gym routine.

i’d keep updates to coming – but little need – i’m back on track, happy and the results started immediately.
